How we collect jobs

Freelance jobs are spread across many platforms. We put them on one board, so you search in one place.

On our board now: 132 jobs from external sources.

  1. From external platforms

Most jobs on our board come from other freelance platforms. We collect them there automatically and regularly. Sometimes we also post a job ourselves, straight from a client.

  2. One way of sorting

Every platform sorts jobs its own way. We give every job one xFreelance category, so you filter the same way everywhere.

  3. You see where a job comes from

With a complete account (email confirmed, profile finished) the job board shows which platform each job comes from.

  4. You apply at the source

For a job from an external platform you apply through that platform, and its terms apply. We are not a party to that job.

New

Post jobs yourself

Verified freelancers now post their own jobs on xFreelance, for example work you can't take on yourself or a job for which you're looking for a colleague. On the board, such a job carries the label "Posted by a freelancer".

Other verified freelancers respond with a message and an anonymised cv: without their name and contact details, but with their roles, skills, availability and rate. If the poster wants to take it further, you decide whether to share your details.

You request verification in your account, and we then check your KvK number. That keeps out intermediaries who want to use xFreelance to collect cvs. Companies and recruiters will be able to post jobs later.

Why we do this

Today, platforms and brokers largely decide which jobs you get to see. By putting everything in one place, you keep the overview yourself.
