Omschrijving
I need a hardware designer to shrink a full-featured wireless gaming mouse down to the smallest possible printed-circuit footprint. The heart of the board will be the Pixart 3395 optical sensor paired with Nordic’s nRF52840 for low-latency, 2.4 GHz wireless performance.
Alongside the core components the PCB must natively support RGB lighting channels, several programmable button inputs, and on-the-fly adjustable DPI. The mouse will run from a rechargeable Li-ion/Li-Po cell, so please allow for an on-board charger and battery protection.
My priority is size: component placement, antenna tuning, and power management all have to be optimized so the final outline fits comfortably inside a modern, lightweight gaming shell. If you can achieve a single-board solution without mezzanine layers, even better.
Deliverables
• Complete schematic with all part numbers
• Compact, production-ready PCB layout (KiCad or Altium preferred)
• BOM with sourcing suggestions for every component
• Gerber, drill and pick-and-place files
• Basic firmware stub proving sensor readout, button mapping and 2.4 GHz link
I will test the first prototypes for latency, sensor accuracy, RGB control, power draw and wireless stability; passing those checks releases final approval. If you have prior experience squeezing Nordic radios and Pixart sensors into tight spaces, I’m eager to see what you can do.
Budget: USD 30–250
