Description
I need a legally sound set of documents that will let me take an option agreement to court or a relevant tribunal and ask for it to be cancelled. The agreement was signed when I was under pressure and before I properly understood what I was accepting, so the core argument is lack of informed consent.
Your job is to turn the facts and paperwork I already have into clear, persuasive pleadings, supporting affidavits, and any accompanying forms the court or tribunal requires. I will supply the signed option agreement, my timeline of events, emails, and any correspondence that shows the pressure I was under. From there you will:
• Analyse the agreement under contract- and property-law principles
• Identify the most suitable jurisdiction, cause of action, and remedies
• Draft the originating application, statement of claim (or equivalent), affidavit, and a concise outline of submissions ready for filing
Everything must meet formal rules of pleading in the chosen forum, cite relevant legislation or case law, and be formatted exactly as that court expects (including word limits, margins, pagination, and service details). Please include a brief guide telling me how and when to file and serve each document.
Experience with contract disputes, option deeds, and litigation procedure is essential; familiarity with tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar for pinpoint authorities is a plus. Let me know how quickly you can turn the draft around after receiving my material and whether you can offer limited follow-up revisions if the registry requests tweaks.
