I’m ready to take my future home from concept to construction and I need an architect who can guide the entire process. The look and feel I’m after is distinctly modern, yet I still want warmth and liveability—not a cold glass box. The layout should balance openness with privacy: think flowing social zones that transition into more enclosed, intimate spaces. We’ll be working toward a three-bedroom configuration, and every square metre should earn its keep. Here’s how I picture our collaboration unfolding: • Early-stage visioning – mood boards or quick massing studies so we can lock in the overall aesthetic and volumes. • Detailed floor plans – a combination open/closed plan that clearly shows room adjacencies, circulation, and furniture layouts. • 3D visualisations or BIM model – so I can virtually walk through the design and make informed decisions before we freeze the drawings. • Full construction set – architectural drawings, sections, elevations, schedules, and any coordination sheets required for permitting and builders. • Finishes and material palette – modern, durable selections that complement the architecture and fit within a realistic build budget. I value clear milestones, prompt communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
