School Information Website Build

I need a clean, responsive website whose core purpose is straightforward information dissemination for our school. The heart of the site will be a dedicated portfolio area where visitors can browse curated highlights of our community—think student work, standout projects, and staff profiles—presented in an easy-to-update gallery format. On the practical side, I want a simple content-management workflow so office staff can post news items and refresh images without touching code. A modern WordPress, Drupal, or comparable CMS install is fine as long as it loads quickly on both desktop and mobile and can be expanded later for calendars or policy pages.
