Description
I need a MATLAB/Simulink power systems expert to develop an automated synthetic PMU dataset generation engine for the IEEE 39-bus transmission system.
**Existing IEEE Dataset:** The project will use the existing *PMU Measurements of IEEE 39-Bus Power System Model* dataset as a reference and validation resource. It was obtained using an RTDS simulator and GTNETx2-based PMUs, covering all 10 generators over approximately 86.6 seconds, with 5,197 measurements per generator. It includes quasi-steady-state operation, topology changes, and fault-related disturbances.
**Dataset Link:** https://ieee-dataport.org/open-access/pmu-measurements-ieee-39-bus-power-system-model
**Project Scope:** Assess the existing model and resolve compatibility issues; design LG, LL, LLG, and LLL fault scenarios; generate three-phase voltage and current signals; extract PMU features; and create accurate labels for fault detection, classification, localization, and distance estimation.
**Deliverables:** Validated synthetic dataset, automated MATLAB scripts, scenario documentation, and recommendations for machine-learning-based fault detection and relay–circuit-breaker clearance-time optimization.
