Advanced Shopify Developer for D2C Brands

We are building a growing ecommerce-focused service business and are looking to establish a long-term working relationship with an experienced Shopify developer/designer who specializes in D2C/ecommerce brands. We are NOT looking for someone who only builds basic Shopify websites or installs pre-made themes. We are specifically looking for someone who understands how to build premium, conversion-focused Shopify stores for real D2C brands. What we're looking for You should have: Minimum 2 years of hands-on Shopify experience Proven experience building Shopify stores for D2C/ecommerce brands A strong portfolio of real Shopify stores Experience with Shopify 2.0 / modern Shopify themes Strong understanding of ecommerce UX/UI Mobile-first design and development experience Understanding of conversion optimization (CRO) Experience creating high-converting product pages Experience with product/collection pages, cart and checkout optimization Ability to customize Shopify themes rather than relying entirely on templates Good understanding of responsive design Basic understanding of analytics/tracking integrations Strong attention to detail Good communication and ability to meet deadlines Experience with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify apps and third-party integrations is highly preferred. Experience working with categories such as beauty, skincare, fashion, fitness, food & beverage, grooming, wellness, or consumer products is a major plus. Long-term opportunity This is not necessarily a one-off project. We're looking to build a reliable network of Shopify specialists whom we can bring into multiple D2C projects as our client base grows. The person we select may receive recurring projects if the quality, communication, pricing and turnaround are strong. You will work with us on a project-by-project basis rather than as a full-time employee.
